I am pretty sure I hate Mondays. Becuase, you know, Mondays suck ass. The first day to wake up early, the first day to get dressed and be somewhere you have to do things, like work, and be nice to people and answer the phone if it rings. Ugh, fuck that.
This weekend was pretty nice. Went to Shepherdstown WV, to the New Age store there to get some incense. We also ended up picking some fossils for the kid and soothing stones for me. We also went to a couple other local stores and got some items here and there. Had lunch at the Thai place, which was good and thankfully not too expensive. Did laundry, always a joy. Did some grocery shopping, another joy. I totally forgot about working on the scarf, and well anything else for that matter. I barely turned on my computer this weekend, which was nice and weird at the same time. I think it was up for a whopping 30 minutes Sunday morning. The kid was annoyed as he has games he wants to play. Cry me a river.
I weighed in at 235 this morning. My period is due though, so I want to assume the additional weight is due to that. Stupid 2 lbs. I did go walking around the apartment complex on Sunday and we did some walking around Shepherdstown on Saturday. Yeah walking. I plan on practicing horn today with the kid and then walk around the complex and then do dinner. Tomorrow is therapy, so no walking or anything tomorrow.
Our couch decided that one of it's legs was no longer sufficent to support it and the husband had to do some fixing on it. That was fun - NOT. So, of course, I start looking at couches on line to see what's out there. Nothing like ours, sadly. See, ours is from Rooms to Go (in south FL) and we got it at the outlet there, and it's curved (Cindy Crawford design I believe) and the closest one to us is 3 hours away it looks like. And it's several years old and of course furniture trends obviously are still not up to par, so if this poor sofa dies, it will really suck. Not to mention most couches/sofa's are expensive and that's one more bill we certainly DON'T NEED at the moment.
I forgot to bring lotion to work, and my legs are all dry and itchy. BLAH
My husband was sweet enough to put together a custom bowl, my new soothing stones and some candy (things like Bit-o-Honey, Peppermint Patty, Coffee candy and Lindt Lindor chocolates (in case the soothing stones aren't working LOL)) for me to take to work :) Love the thoughtfulness!!
I didn't read at all this weekend, didn't smoke either, ugh, which is annoying. I bought 1 pack of cigarettes but haven't opened them yet.
I picked up more books at the library as well. I need to get back on track with my reading!
Nothing else too exciting is going on. I should probably write some things down to talk to my therapist tomorrow about. Which is weird, but good, but sometimes unsettling and other times I'm just relieved we're both getting counseling and maybe life will re-sort itself out.
