Ok, so I admit it - I am seriously behind the curve right now.
So.
Let's see if I can remember stuff from this weekend. Hmmm. Saturday was basically laundry and grocery shopping, not a lot of excitment with that. Sunday...I want to say something similar, at least to the point it was just the normal mundane things.
Oh I was able to find a replacement 64 oz water bottle. Mine was mistakenly put into the dishwasher, which then melted the poor thing. I have been searching for one and found a pink (whatever, it's a water bottle) one at 5 Below. It sorta looks like the one I am showing you from amazing ----------------------------------------------->
I just really like having such a large and easy water bottle, that way I don't have to get up over and over and over to refill my smaller one. Now I just get to get up and go to the bathroom from drinking so much water.
Edit: Just remembered, we went to a little new age store that opened up locally. They said they've been here a while, but yeah we never saw them before. I had a really good time talking to the owner and will see if she's interested in buying some custom jewelry I make (I've been itching to bead again anyways). Will be making some in the near future, will post pictures :D Also, if anyone here want's something, just let me know (earrings, necklace, bracelet, anklet) I typically use semi-precious gemstone beads, bali or sterling silver (I do have some copper) and I do have some Swarovski crystals as well. Can always do a mix match and whatnot. If you're into the Craft side of things, think of a specific need (hmmm, maybe one for jobs or sleep or something??) and can use stones that would help with that :D. I also do custom pendulums...sorry got side tracked. So the lady was very nice, the husband got a bit annoyed with me because, you know, I talk a lot. I am who I am.
I picked up some SlimFast at WalMart, because I am going to give it a week and see if this helps me lose weight. I like these bottles better than the old metal ones, by far. Yesterday went good. Had a shake (I like the Strawberry & Cream one) and 2 cups of coffee (Monday's and Wednesday's are the days I double fist my coffee = 2 mugs = approx 32 oz) for breakfast and really was not hungry until about 1 pm. Another shake, my greek fat free yogurt (it has honey in it, YUM). Snack was blueberries and a cutie orange.
Dinner, the husband had prepared meatloaf the night before, so I threw that into the oven, made some fresh mashed potatoes and corn. I kept it to a normal serving size (ok, yes I had more of the damned mashed pototoes, but I add sour cream when i make them and they are seriously fucking yummy) oh and I did add some shredded cheese to the top of my meatloaf. I also had a salad :) We picked up some fresh salsa at the market and I swear I don't salad dressing if I have that in it instead :^D Good to know for the future, so I might start incorporating that more often.
I got hungry later that night, I think not so much that my stomach was demanding food, so I had a bowl of Special K Vanilla/Almond something. Probably not the smartest move, just should have gone to bed, but whatever. It's still, overall, less than I normally eat. Not that the scale shared that same thought with me this morning. A week...I am giving it a week.
Oh and I started taking my vitamins again as well. Now if I could just get into a regular exercise routine...
Mondays seem to start being a really busy day for me at work. Which means I didn't get a chance to read blogs or write blogs or much of anything. I did some stuff on goodreads, but that was sporatic at best and half done on my phone when I was at home. I have several book reviews I need to write, 1 story to finish reading and then review for the author and some facebook stuff for another book that I read. I should probably do another post on that as well.
More counseling starts on Monday. This should be interesting and hopefully beneficial.
I do have a couple more posts to finish writing (Yeah, I was able to have a thought, put it in draft and then remember it again later - LOL) so hopefully can get caught up soon!
Holy busy! O.O
ReplyDeleteAlso, that water bottle looks AWESOME! *Adds it to the wishlist*
Yeah, life is good ;) MAYBE and MAYBE NOT!!!
DeleteIf you have a 5 Below by you, see if they have one similar. It will be much cheaper!! That's where I got mine :D
Actually, I do. I remember seeing it and wondering what on earth it was. Now I know, and I'll have to go check it out! Also, do you have a website or something where you list the jewelry you've made? I'm not quite in the market at the moment, but I'd definitely like to keep it in mind for future reference. :)
DeleteCheck it out, so much easier than refilling something 20 times a day :D And I know how much water I drank vs the "wait, what # of glasses is this again?".
DeleteI used to (along with a New Age site, closed both down a few years back) but I can find those pictures and post them here :)
I just like to make things, especially for nice people :) Just because. I'm sorta weird that way. I like to give things that are cool or pretty away.
